U.S. Senator Barack Obama’s trip to Cedar Rapids tomorrow, Wednesday, June 11, has been cancelled due to the floods. After speaking with Governor Culver’s staff, the Obama campaign wanted to ensure that no resources were diverted from Iowans devastated by the floods. The Obama campaign is encouraging all Iowans who need assistance or would like to volunteer their time to assist with relief effort to call the Iowa Concern Hotline at (800) 447-1985.
