FORMER CONGRESSMAN FRANK RIGGS ENDORSES JOHN MCCAIN

U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced that former California Congressman Frank Riggs (CA-01) has endorsed John McCain for president.

"John McCain is a true leader who puts principle before politics and partisanship," said Congressman Riggs. "His record clearly demonstrates that he acts on his convictions and does what he believes is right. I know John McCain is the leader our nation needs in these challenging times and I'm proud to support him for president, as I did in 2000."

John McCain thanked Congressman Riggs for his support, saying, "Frank is a good friend. He has dedicated his life to service of others. I am honored to have his support."

Frank Riggs is a real estate developer and president/CEO of the Charter Schools Development Corporation and its subsidiary, Charter FS, LLC. He represented California's First Congressional District (the Northcoast and northern San Francisco Bay Area) for three terms from 1991-92 and 1995-98 in the 102nd, 104th and 105th Congresses.
